"Learn Your Altair" is a class designed and created by Lori Hernandez. This class includes a step by step in depth educational experience. She will guide you through the machine from beginning to end. Once you have completed the initial machine education sections you can then enjoy completing the project she has designed with machine features in mind. Learning from Lori is always an enjoyable experience. She wants you to get the most out of your machine. She enjoys combining creativity along with machine learning within her classes. This class is also beneficial if you have the Baby Lock Meridian or other machines that have similar capabilities and applications.

I am Lori Hernandez from Inspiration Collaborations
Hi, I’m Lori Hernandez! My passion for sewing sparked when my daughter was born—it was love at first stitch. That joy grew into owning a children’s boutique, where I specialized in custom clothing, wedding magic, and all kinds of alterations. Life’s twists and turns eventually led me to Baby Lock, and let me tell you, their machines opened up a whole new world for me! Fast forward 15 years, and I’ve been traveling across the U.S. as a Baby Lock educator, sharing my love for sewing with so many wonderful people. It’s been an incredible adventure filled with creativity, laughter, and the occasional runaway spool of thread. Now, I’m thrilled to share a little slice of "me" with you through the Serge Fun Club—where stitches are made, laughs are guaranteed, and we all learn together. Let’s serge up some fun!
